Sometimes fare deals come along like London buses, nothing for ages then lots at once! There’s another outstanding deal today from Vienna for the month of August. Flights to Los Angeles on the rather excellent Austrian Airlines are available for €1,249 return, in business class. I’ve not tried their long haul business class product, but I have in Europe and they’re rather good.
Strangely, it doesn’t seem to be pricing up on Austrian’s own website, but it is on United.com. The screenshot below is for one of the direct flights on that route.
If Vienna isn’t convenient, there are a variety of deals from Zurich to a number of US destinations. For example, the screenshot below shows Zurich to Chicago for around £1,300.

UPDATE 13/06 13:00 BST – it appears that most of the deals from Vienna have now gone, however there are still a few from Zurich in particular to places like Las Vegas. Good luck!
